Ford Invests $128 Million in Ohio Production

Ford recently announced its intentions to move medium-duty truck production from Mexico to its Ohio Assembly Plant, located west of Cleveland. The move will save nearly 2,000 American jobs that would have ended with the cessation of Econoline van production in 2013. The state's incentive package is valued at $15 million for the venture; it will be recouped within a year with higher tax collections from the Ohio state population.
